This album is the result of the collaborative efforts of a bunch of friends and musicians. Throughout his career, Joe Jack Talcum has been influential both as a performer and a person, and for his 50th birthday, the folks on this album pay tribute to him by dipping into his catalog, from his solo work to the numerous bands he's been a part of, and doing their best to reinvent a song or two. It's our little "thank you" for having the opportunity to have him in our lives.

Special thanks to Steve for working within a very tight budget; Dan Stevens for helping to make all this come together; Cult Leader Lettuce for archiving, being on hand to answer catalog questions, late-night IM brainstorming conversations, and contacting folks when necessary; Dean Sabatino for answers and advice and for not suing us yet; Dan Mapp for helping get a bunch of stuff together; and all the contributors to this record for playing along to make it happen.
